ALLINDIA CENTRAL PARA-MILITARY FORCES EX-SERVICEEN WELFARE ASSOCIATION ( Regn S.No.636/2007) dated 12/12/2007 is the revamped name of Central Paramilitary Forces Ex-Servicemen Association which was registered vide Regn. No. 175/99 dated 17th Feb, 1999.
It is constituted with the sole aim of looking after the welfare of Ex-Servicemen, widows and their dependents of Central Paramilitary Forces of the Country under the Union Home Ministry viz. Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Boarder Security Forces (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police Force ( ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG) and Assam Rilfes (AR).

Our Profile

Vision of our Association is to get all the benefits being extended to Ex-Servicemen of Indian Armed forces such as Army/Air force and Navy. To mediate with Central Government and State Government authorities and pursue matters related to the Welfare of the above category of the Society.
The genesis of the Indian Para-military Forces is the same as that of Indian Defence Forces i.e., entry – II of the Union list, seventh schedule, Article 246 of Constitution of India, and Acts passed by the Parliament under which the Para-military Forces have been raised. Therefore, legally these Forces also fall under the category of Armed Forces of the Union. MHA vide their notification No. F – 2402/74/2004- PC dated 6th August 2004 have affirmed and clarified to all State/UTs Govts. that CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, NSG, SSB & ASSAM RIFLES have been declared as Armed Forces of the Union.
A special General Body Meeting of representatives from various
Ex-Para-Military Forces Welfare Associations and from different states held at Press Club of India on 13.12.2015. In the said meeting “CONFEDERATION OF EX-PARAMILITARY FORCES WELFARE ASSOCIATIONS” (COEPMFWA) was formed and decided to register it under societies Act 1860 at New Delhi. The main aim of forming up of Confederation of Ex-Paramilitary Forces Welfare Associations is to bring all existing Paramilitary Forces Ex-Servicemen associations in different states with different title and ideological attitude under one umbrella, so as to arrive at a common decision on each issue before pursing it to the authorities concerned.
